RUNCHARGER

One thing doesn't match the others. I bought this setup in March 1980. Drove it home 75 miles on glare ice.

Sheldon, was your first Hemi?

March of 80 was the same month I got my first & only Hemi.... 71 R code...

RUNCHARGER

Ha, ha: Yes that was my first one. I always wanted one since I was a kid, nothing was going to stop me from buying this one. I wish mine had been a real Hemi car like that though!

The potential was huge..Less than 10,000 miles.....Originally ordered on Guam, 426/4spd/4:10 heater delete.....Leather interior, AM cassette....  The reality was It never had a chance to survive....  It had been taken apart before I got it & with many lost parts on an island thousands of miles from a parts source (Guam) & on the salary an E4 in the Navy made plus the title issues due to the guy I got if from had a loan on it.......I was able to get the Hemi & 4 spd home... Honestly the car was so rusty it needed to die but......
