Considering the hills around you if I were gonna be towing I'd consider looking at a 1 ton....  Then again if I had a finished AAR there's zero chance it would be on a trailer..... The fun part is driving them....

Don't go by the window sticker....Right now there's huge sales on Ram's with up to 35% savings off of the sticker. I drove mine off the lot AFTER 13% taxes for $10K LESS than the sticker price before taxes.

That's good to know Alan. I'm starting to see that now that I've decided to get a 4x4. There are a lot more of those on the lot than there are of the 4x2 with discounted pricing.

I hear ya loud and clear. Although as hard as I've worked to get it this far I'd like the new to stay on it as long as it can. I'm really only concerned about the long hauls, Carlisle, the Nationals, etc.

There's allot of great roads around your area so driving would be a blast, I understand the risks of driving them & with more distracted drivers, unqualified drivers & flat out can't drivers on the road today I get your concerns, but keep in mind if the crash into your truck & trailer your AAR still gets damaged & you didn't get to enjoy driving it.... Buddy of mine hauled his car around in a trailer for a couple years & it sustained more damage from loading & un-loading than my car has sustained in 20 years..

FWIW  I finished my Challenger back in mid August of 1995, August 22nd I drove it 500 miles from my house to Las Vegas for the Pacific Nationals... By the time I got home I'd put over 1200 miles on the car & there was nothing soap & water didn't fix... At this point it's over 75K miles & while it's got a few rock chips it still shows pretty well & honestly I like it more cause if I get a chip I don't feel quite as freaked out as I once did...
