This isn't E-body related but does anyone here know details about 71 Chargers? I'm trying to figure out if all 71 Charger RT cars got 3speed wipers like the Challengers did? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Good question....In my opinion the answer is NO.
I've only owned one 1971 Charger R/T, it was a 440+6 car with a  RamCharger hood and it still only had  two speed wipers documented on the broadcast sheet :alan2cents:

I didn't look at it but I did talk with the guy. I think I'm going to choose a different car so feel free to talk with him Sheldon @RUNCHARGER

I'm a mega 71 Charger R/T fan  Owned 5 of them in the past.   :bigthumb:

Chryco Psycho

I have owned 4 , awesome cars to drive .
I planned to do a 512 stroker EFI twin turbo in my last one but the dreams & funds never lined up

I'd like to have one as well someday but the prices have slowly been going through the roof on them.

I like them too, this was at Carlisle.  :worship:

Yes: I really like them. They have styling kind of E bodyish, lots of options and a better build quality and road feel. So they are my favorite driving early Mopars. This is my last one. Factory Hemi automatic, all matching #'s.

Interesting that this topic came up today. A friend of mine went to a garage sale today and a 71 charger was for sale. The guy said it is a super bee with a 440? I wonder if it is for real and what is is worth?

Did your buddy get a picture of the fender tag?
What's the price?

Where's it at?

Looks like a cool car!

Likely a transplanted 440....and one heck of a deer whistler on the passenger side front fender :o

Most likely a 383 car with a 440 swapped in. However they did let a few 440+4, 71 Super Bees out the door. That looks fairly nice and a good colour. A guy could pull the engine back out right now and do a nice job under the hood before getting it running.
