So I helped Jan Hyatt, the widow of Steve Davenport AKA BlueSpruce  set up this gofundme campaign.
Can't figure out how to make the picture correct though.

If anyone wants to help finish her home it would be much appreciated.

Steve didn't post a ton but I know he had made a few friends on this site including me.

Can anyone help me with merging two pictures to one and getting the picture small enough to fit in the gofundme's campaign?

Thanks for the help and for some of the donations!

I will take some pictures when I'm out there just after Christmas to button up the roof.
Steve was quite the wood worker.  It's too bad i didn't get to see what he could do to a car.

Hermit as he was, it turns out that the locals had a lot of respect for Steve.  I've got several folks who are going to donate
some time to help me with some of the different projects.  Thank goodness !!

Anything helps.
I was scheduled to go down there today but our temperature was negative 20 here so I had employee troubles.  Frozen pipes, frozen radiator, frozen balls.  So I had to shovel snow all day instead while the employees get their lives straight.   Luckily Westcliffe had only 4" of snow so I can sweep the roof off before I shingle it next week.

I've worked out pricing from several of my subs who are willing to help with the cause so I'm pulling out some of my favors.  plumbing, insulation, framers.  Then Steve had a few other friends who are helping any way they can, electrical and labor.

I've not done much yet, mostly just pricing things and getting men organized.  Just trying to help.

Thanks Neil !!

I think I need to update this.  I just now realized this was a sticky, so my apologies for not updating.  I've never had a sticky before.

The Gofundme did help Jan out while she got through to the point of selling the home and moving home.  I have no idea who donated or how much.  Thank all of you who did help.

Myself and 2 employees spent about 5 months finishing Steve's home for Jan.  I helped her sell all of Steve's collection to those who were passionate about the collections.  Jan gave me Steve's cuda that had been in the barn since 84.  I sold it 3 days after getting it, over at Carlisle nationals.  Steve had told me that I needed to go with him that year to get his cuda out of the barn.  I completed his goal, Cuda removed and him introducing me to Carlisle Nationals, the biggest best mopar show in the world.
Jan was able to stay a winter and a summer at the home.  During that winter, she realized that she could not afford to be alone with the upkeep of a winter home in the mountains of Colorado.  She sold the home and was able to return to Ithaca New York where she has family and build a nice little home that is more suitable to her needs.
All in all, I have a cool set of AAR chin spoilers, an heirloom antique boom boom, a new friend named Jan and several great memories hanging out with Steve talking mopars and hunting.

I really appreciate to this day, the kindness that Steve offered me before any of this.

Carlisle is my tribute for ole Steve Davenport of Ithaca New York.

And some pics of my one and only barn find. A 200 year old barn.  In Ithaca New York.
I pulled every saveable piece of cuda part that was there.
Had to walk over a dead dog for hours.
Had to yank the car more than 70 times with a chain to get the wheels to free up.
Chased by a pair of racoons.
Almost bitten by a possum.
Trapped in an upstairs room by a skunk.
Scared a bunch of bats out of the barn.
Had some vulture's pissed off and dive bombing me on the top level.
We had to cut the trees out of the way of the door.
Had to pull an old iron tractor out before getting the car out.
I took the car, packed with parts to carlisle, placed it in my first vendors spot at my first big car show in G13.
Sold the car for 1500 bucks.
As sad as I was to sell it, there was more rust than I am used to seeing out here in Colorado.
The fella that bought the car parted it out as I understand it.
I kept a pair of aar chin spoilers, the build sheet a faded 4 speed pistol grip handle.
Oh and I kept a pair of little bitty deer horns that Steve had apparently killed back when he was a young lad.

It was a good run. For my first and only barn find.
Here are the first pictures taken of the car before I went out to New York.
And the last picture of the car on a craigslist ad for parting out cars and cars wanted.
