I put my on-demand on an outside wall near the ac unit. Works perfectly.  Of course I used propane and buried a 500 gallon tank in the yard.

I should add that I have a whole house propane generator too.  Thus the big tank.

Cody should do the gas tankless as you did.. Best way to go!! Plus could do do gas dryers and stove.. Save $$$ yearly...
