Yep, we will be there, judging again. I really hope all the N96 cars aren't E bodies being judged lol.

Almost exactly 500 cars.  They cut the number down slightly from the 525-535 I believe was the number of cars at all the previous shows.  The aisles are going to be a bit bigger so the spectators have more space when walking through the hall, plus there are going to be a couple seating areas added because people have expressed concern that there aren't enough places to sit down and take a break at the show.

What?!  :crazytalk:  No, more cars!!   If you're legs are getting tired and you want to take a break, kick back with the house band and enjoy a few tunes while you rest your "dogs"!!
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)

We're actually back up to above 524.... I just did the number/zone list.

EXCELLENT GREAT SHOW EVERY YEAR!!!!   I'LL BE THERE (LIVE REAL CLOSE)

I plan on going with a buddy.  What is the better day to go?  Sat or Sun?  I can't imagine being able to see all those cars in a day, but I only have time for 1 day of playing cars.

Both days have their advantages and disadvantages.
Saturday is typically a lot more crowded.  But there are a number of unveilings of freshly restored cars, so there is some excitement in seeing a celebrity pull the cover off a car for the first time seen in public.
And the hall is open later on Saturday, you can stay until 9:00.  The crowds tend to thin out by later in the afternoon.  And in the evening they will have live bands in the ballroom area.
Sunday the crowds are usually much thinner, so it makes it easier to get around and see the cars.  Maybe easier to get a chance to talk to car owners and celebrities as there are less people there trying to talk to them.  The hall closes promptly at 5:00 so the car owners can start getting their cars out and on trailers for the generally long trip home, therefore the hall is open less time on Sunday.
The same cars are there for the weekend, don't worry about missing seeing any cars Saturday vs Sunday!

The entire show can easily be seen in one day... pending how fast/slow you walk... 4-hours is plenty... 5-6 hours more than enough.   Main parking across the street in a large enclosed garage (it's an entertainment center of Rosemont)... right off the I-294 tollway.

Had a drink with a buddy after work tonight and mentioned I'd like to go and he said he had a room reserved next door he convention center nobody to go with ...So I jumped all over the opportunity. Looking forward to the show !!!!!

Hard to believe the show is next week already! End of next week actually.
I'll be working there but haven't seen the schedule yet to see my assignments.  But I'll be around, guarding the lobby or ballroom or a display, driving the shuttle back and forth to the trailer storage yard, directing rigs during move in, or whatever I'm needed for.
Can't wait, hope to see some members there!

Don't remind me!  My list is as long as my gut for stuff to get done!

I have just about the final list of cars and it is amazing.  More Mopars then any year previously.

I'm in the neighborhood and things are a bit slow at my "day job".  I marked off next Thursday and Friday as vacation days there to work the show, but if you guys need any assistance over the weekend or next week before move-in to get things finalized, I can take more time off,  just give me a holler!  :yessir:

One of these darn years I'd love to go! Same with Carlisle.

I'm a Carlisle virgin myself, I need to get there!  If nothing else I have to figure out how to get my T/A out there for the 50th anniversary in 2020!
As far as MCACN goes, many don't realize the convention center is literally just a mile or so east of O'Hare airport.  Got some extra frequent flyer miles burning a hole in your pocket?  Use some to book a redeye into ORD Saturday or Sunday morning.  A quick uber or El train ride to the hall, spend the day getting amazed at the cars on display, then back to ORD for a flight home, all in one day!

Although the MCACN show is #1 to see, usually, upstairs from the main lobby, there is another trade-show/convention happening...  often very amusing and open to the public.
