What is the advantage if you are already a member here?  :dunno:

just sent a Join request, new to MeWe like everyone and figuring it out.

So far a few things I like:
  * you can create a different profile per group, so different pic and an introduction
  * you can filter your feed by Contacts vs Groups, should be handy once my MeWe presence grows

Not much, I'm not very active on the facebook E-Bodies site but it seems to get more traffic than on here at times? Some people prefer that format I guess. The goal is ( as I see it?) to direct them here, so it makes sense to be "advertising" if you will on the popular  venues.

Although I have been able to purchase many parts and a few cars from our wonderful forum here I feel the advantage to being a fakebook member and wewe member is that you have more opportunity at things that pop up on the market.  I've only made a few deals on the fakebook ebodies but have made a few.  I don't use it much but I do get a notification for every post that happens so I scan everything.  I've actually recruited a few good folks from the fakebook over to the forum here.

I've learned a few things on the fakebook pages also.  I would assume the mewe will be the same.  More exposure you can get gives you more opportunity for a purchase.   Or for information.

Definitely some advantages.

I'll just stick with this for the great information, I find the comments on the FB page very unreliable, almost an unrelated group to what is here.

I actually agree with you.   They are very different over there and very unrelated.  However those parts are the same no matter who owns them.  I stick here for the info for sure!

Facebook has tons of pages/groups many very active, it has become a lot more popular than most forums and many forums folded up becuase of it. This place is the only forum I actually come on regularly now. MeWe is similar to FB without the liberal censoring and all the ads but we`ll see if it stays that way.  :dunno:

Just so you know. there is no 'deleting' of a facebook acct.
A year from now if you go enter your credentials on FB, you will reappear as if you never left.  :alan2cents:

Been on it for a couple weeks now. Still only occasionally.
FB though has taken a massive dive in interest.
All because of their obvious lean.
2 weeks before the election I was inundated with political pages I had to opt out of. Pages I never opted into. All leaning their way.
Look forward to seeing where this one goes.
