On man this has me pumped up dreaming... guess I need to buy a lottery ticket! LOL
What a cool place to live or use it like a cottage.Only 5 1/2 hour drive for me.  I wonder if they have crazy rules about what you can do in your garage. Like welding etc... ?  HOA/Condo fee's? Looks like a rich mans playground.
We need to make a Mopar community like this! Imagine the block parties, community car builds etc...!  :veryexcited:
I always though those communities in Florida are so cool  that are built beside an airport. You fly in and taxi your plane to your house , Your garage is a plane hanger.  But this might just top that!  :bradsthumb:

I would be in the center of that community spent my time & life helping others build the dreams .
Problem is I cannot live in the US & will not live in Canada , I doubt most of you are moving to Panama anytime soon SO i guess I will come to you

Why can't you live in the US ?

When I was in Brainerd for the NHRA nationals in August they were building similar condos. Must be becoming popular with many tracks. I looked at one from outside. Looked very nice.

They're doing that in Oliver B.C. as well. Great idea. Another good idea is a garage for the Motor Home with the house on top of it. They are doing that in Kelowna a bit.

I wonder if a variation of this plan could be used to secure some of the endangered dragstrips from closure & redevelopment??

build car themed residences with large garage space in the vacinity of the dragstrips

I was thinking the same thing but also including circle tracks, road course . All 3 would be great!

We've got one of those in Chicagoland, just a little west of my work, called "Iron Gate".
I think the smallest units there go for $139K.  Not sure what the other costs are, like monthly fee and utilities.  Plus you need to decorate the place, put furniture and a bar in the loft etc.

Too rich for me.  They have regular cars and coffee events at the one by my work.  I've never been, but from the pictures I've seen, it looks like a bunch of rich doctor and lawyer types who mostly have exotics, Corvettes, late model shelbies, and some hot rods and tri-5 Chevies.  Not sure if an engineer in worn jeans with a bunch of old Dodges would fit in, but if I came into a pile of money, I'd be happy to find out!
