Bullitt-

Since selling my '90 Jeep Cherokee in '97 I've driven every kinda used hand-me-down from Dad's LHS to a slew of worn out work trucks to a '02 Town & Country for the last three years. I've spent many a sleepless night tryin to find a good used low mile late model Hemi Ram to no avail. A couple of months ago someone here was talking the big incentives being offered on new units, still no joy..prices just seemed absurd. Anywho I raised my sights n budget a smidgen and was able to score this Neused '17 at the local Mercedes dealership with a mere 2,700 on the clock.. A Tradesman with very few extra's but nicer than any pickemup I've been associated with..dang thing rides smoother than I could of imagined   Radio sounds great ta boot.

Nice. The stock Chevy style rear coils don't hold up much weight but the rest of the trucks seem good.

Nice, I`m in the market for a new truck as well, can the 1500 with those coils handle towing a car trailer?

I don't see why not, Hemi Ram 1500 Quad Cab 2X4 is rated at 8,500 lbs towing capitally,
Crew Cab like this one 8,250 lbs.. And keep the tongue weight no more than 1,500
You might want the optional 3.92 rear gear for best results..
Standard equipment on the Tradesman is a class IV hitch but you might wanna add the Trailer Brake Control

I highly recommend the air leveling suspension....Works fantastic hauling a trailer.....I just towed my buddy's Barracuda to Carlisle no problem smooth ride all they way !

If I hauled regularly I would get a set of airbags for mine. It will pull a car trailer no problem, lots of power, stable and good brakes. Just the girly coils need help.
