Ihope they are paying you very well. It would take a pile to get me to go.....

Sure it would Brad. Did I tell you about that building full of 71 Javelins and AMXs' I saw in New Delhi?  :Stirring:  I think they were free, but not sure.  :))

You bumped your head.... that was in Brampton!  :haha:

I am in Calgary for a couple of days...heading home tonight...and the 2 hour time difference is kicking my ass...not sure how I would do with a larger time difference.

My wife is British so a good portion of her relatives, my in-laws are in England, the others are here in the states. In the past 25 or 30 years we have made about 5 trips there to visit. Spending usually 3 weeks at a time flying out of LAX (which is 35 miles from home) into Heathrow or Gatwick airports. It is a 10-11 hour flight non-stop out of LA up across Canada then on to England. No matter how many times we make that damned flight it's still an arduous, tedious trip. Note of interest, we usually go in the month of June, we'll about 4 years ago when we left out of LA it was a beautiful sunny warm weather day, Mrs. and I wearing light clothing, myself in shorts. As soon as we touched down in London I noticed cold, dark, rainy weather. Looked at my wife and said "we are not dressed for this" needless to say we hustled to baggage pulled out coats we had taken. Check it out me in my ski coat wearing shorts and tennis shoes no socks.standing out front of terminal, strange looks from the locals while we waited for family pick up. We also experienced snow flurries in London that week in the month of June. Thanks,   Al

I love jetlag, only time I can sleep well in the evening and wake up alert at 6am. For about a week, then I'm back to working all night and being a zombie in the morning.

I did a trip to Manila last week, 14 hour difference.  We were two hours delayed Sunday afternoon in a snow storm, 12 hour flight Denver to Tokyo, had 20 min to make my connection which was 4.5 hours to Manila and got in around 9:00 pm Monday Manila time (7:00 am Monday Denver time). Watched Monday night football on Tuesday morning, worked all week slamming coffee and Diet Cokes to stay awake and Tylenol PM and Melatonin at night to sleep.  Friday was literally the longest day of my life - left 9:00 am Friday (7:00 pm Thurs Denver time) on a flight back to Tokyo, then 5:30 pm Friday (2:30 am Denver time) flight from Tokyo to Denver and landed around 1:00 pm and it was still Friday.   :looney:
