Bought this one in 1980 I think. Rare car that I had a lot of fun with. Returned it to stock and sold it. I had it 18 years, last photo was not taken by me.

When I got married I built this 340-S for my wife. She has short legs though and couldn't shove the clutch pedal in all the way so I ended up driving it. This was a great car and got phenomenal gas mileage. Stock 71 340 engine with a TQ, stock intake, headers, ported heads and a .480 hydraulic. Guy I bought the car from kept the matching #'s 340 because it was a 67 cast date and he wanted it for his 67 Barracuda, nope that didn't make any sense to me either.

Never understood why the 67-69 Cuda's didn't get more appreciation... I always loved them.. And thats a particularly good looking one..

First car I bought at 16, in 1979 was a rusty wrecked Superbird, we fixed it up and I sold it as an unfinished project, las I heard it was in Alaska, but not seen since the 80's...
Then there was a string of Caravans, an Aries K wagon (with fake wood!) in my family man period....
I got started in ld Mopars with a 71 Chrysler 300 a dozen years ago, and I traded gradually to a 69 Satellite, 69 Road Runner A12 clone, then my first Challenger, a 71 R/T, and now my 70 A66
I also had a few new Chargers and Magnums for everyday driving...
MOPAR OR NO CAR!

Here's the other one, this was a 340 4spd car, also a 340 wedge hood car....HUGE restoration mistake with this car....We painted it GY3 curious yellow for a fast sale on our first attempt at doing body work ourselves....BUT this car was and original TX9 black car, with the blacked out hood and white stripes  :headbang:  Sold it at Carlisle is 1999 for $10K
