White letters make the tire stand out a little bit.
The black walls just get lost in the wheel well.

White is my opinion!

I vote blackwall and clean. White letters is more a jazzy 70 and up thing. 67's are more subdued.

Letters IMO, because you lots of bright work on the car. If the trim, grille were blacked out I'd go for black sidewalls.  :alan2cents:

I can see I am definitely out numbered here...LOL---I agree with Alan--Red Lines some day but at $255.00 a pop it may be a while. I can get 4 radials for the price of 2 Redlines. I asked because I am sick of trying to keep white letters white. After a year they turn yellow or black around the edges and also I feel they take away from the Mag. The mag pops more with the black wall.. Thanks for your thought.

I'll vote the raised white letters. I've had various white lettered tires on my Challenger ever since 72. I just like the way they dress up the tire, on a classic they look proper. It's true with white lettered tires you have to keep after them to keep the white look. My tires are 20 years old and I've had to keep after them to keep the tires presentable. Thanks,   Al

I have never had a problem keeping raised white letters perfectly white using Comet cleanser and a brush... very little effort and a quick rinse...
