OK, so I got a hit about @torredcuda  shifter from a guy in Canada. He has one for $400.00. Assuming he is talking Canada money (CDN ? ) how much is that in  :unitedstates: money. This stuff confuses me, but as I troll the web, I have to know this stuff.  Thanks in advance.  :canada: :unitedstates: :rebelflag"

That would be about $311.00 USD. I checked the exchange rate recently at my mall and to buy 1 US dollar it would have cost $1.285 Canadian.

The exchange rate is constantly changing, you can go to a website, XE Currancy Convertor and the bank rate will come up. Consumers pay extra, anywhere from 3 to 4 cents more than the bank rate. Credit cards charge the highest I found. I monitor this often.

Shipping to and from Canada is a bit more then most people expect so take that in to account too.

Average over the last 40 years or so has been 30%  but it fluctuated daily , only twice since 1970 have they been equal .
shipping into Canada is obscene . Never use UPS/ UBS , once UBS tired to  charge me $80 to ship a $12 part ,
USPS is much better , there are also a lot of border towns like Shelby MT to ship to & people will drive down & import the parts themselves

If you haven't looked for it yet, here's that "XE" site I mentioned. I was on my iPad for the first post and still haven't learned how to post a link with that device. This gives the rates that banks and countries swap the  money at, remember there's a small difference because the institutions need to get their cut from us consumers.

I'm a Canadian and I just find it easier to deal in US$ on car parts. Most Mopar guys are in the U.S. and even European guys find the US$ more common to compare values.

My American customers love it when I invoice them  in CDN dollars.....It's like getting a 25% discount when they go to pay :haha:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....
