Get well soon and stay positive. Remember with all the modern medical advancements cancer can usually be beaten.

Dave - Give it what for - You can beat this!!!

My father had prostate cancer years ago. So I keep having my prostate checked once a year via a PSA test (See note below).

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers...

Note: Guys, as most here will know, having a PSA test is a simple matter of a blood draw. Most will know, as well, that this same test can be 10% inaccurate. But, know this...IT IS BETTER THAN NOTHING!!! Get tested! If not for yourselves, then for the sake of those close to you.

Positive attitude is over half the battle I believe.  9 years ago, my wife was diagnosed with Lymphoma.   Of course we googled her type and it didn't sound good at all.  My kids were 6 and 9 at the time.  I was a disaster internally compared to my wife with a positive attitude.  Once I saw how strong and brave she was, my whole outlook and attitude also changed.  She just got re-diagnosed about 10 months ago, but we are still positive and going strong.  Long story short, is a positive mindset, a few more healthy habits really do go a long way.  You got this.

My prayers for you my friend.

I am sure you have lots of support and people to talk to, but if you need to talk to someone who has just recently gone through this type of cancer I have a friend who would be glad to talk it up with you.  Just pm me if you need.

Stay positive as it's probably more than half the battle right there. Treatments are 100 times better than they used to be.

Everyone is behind you here and wishing you a speedy recovery!

So sorry to hear this stuff. It comes out of nowhere it seems and takes over. You seem confident and positive which I believe goes a long way.

My grandfather was diagnosed with prostrate cancer in his late 60's. He was a WWII pacific theater vet that came home with malaria along with a host of other things. I always remember him as the happiest and most positive guy I new.  He outlived all of my other grandparents into his early 90's and  several rounds of issues but he always took it on the chin and moved forward.

I hope the same for you as well.
