I won a fluidampner balancer for a small block chevy. They had a raffle at super chevy Maple Grove back in 87. Other than that I couldn't win a bag of shit if I stood in a manure pile!!

I've won a few decent times playing the Pools for Basketball games where you pay $5.00 and have to pick the winners in the games being played that day.

The payout is split between the winners that get all or most of them correct, usually have to get them all correct or max 1 wrong.

The 1st one was $3771.00, the 2nd time was $1668.00 and the 3rd time was $1830.40 and have won some smaller ones less than $300.00.

Not bad considering I usually only played a few times a week, so i figure I'm still up about $6000.

Won a trip when I was 10 (from hockey camp) sponsored by Victoriaville stick company. Saw a Canadiens home game, met Roger Doucet and Scotty Bowman.  Got a tour of the stick factory and couple dozen sticks.  They put us up at the Bonaventure Hotel.

My BIGest win is also my BIGest loss.  Bear with me for a trip down memory lane. Who's old enuff to remember the Dick Tracy movie, like 1990 w Warren Beatty? Who remembers the scratch off game Mickey D's had when the movie came out??? FREAKIN NOBODY ............ but BIGS!!! 

A hot summer day at the shop... lunch time I run over to Mac's for a quarter pounder and a large coke. I get a scratch off for this "Dick tracy" game promo they have goin' on. I scratch the ticket, the character on the ticket is "Lips Manlis". I look at it and basically think  WTH is this. I throw the ticket in the trash. A day or two later the trash goes into the burn pile. Never gave it a second thought.

Fast forward - 2 weeks later I'm hauling cars out of Wheeling IL. Its another HOT summer day. I'm running my C-65, the only A/C is windows down and drive fast. 
Going north passing Great America the first exit has a Mac's. I'm sweatin' my nuts off and decide to pull off I-94 and hit Mac;s for a coke. Because I'm running my C-65 with one on top and one on the stinger, I cant hit the drive thru, I gotta go inside.

I go inside .... the first thing I see is a 10 foot high poster board. It has Dick Tracy movie characters on it with their respective prizes. Coke for this... Large fry for that..... you see where I'm going here........   Sure as shit , the top of the board... LIPS MANLIS....... I must have starred at that board for 20 minutes......

I remember once I went on a fishing charter out in the  bay for Halibut for maybe it was Salmon.

Anyways, these 4 guys are on the boat. Broken English, very non talkative.

They all have super expensive rods and reels. We're talking $1,000 dollar set ups.
That is kinda unusual for fishing these types of fish on a charter.

Later on, I ask one of the guys, "What do you guys do for a living?"

He replied..."We used to work for the Post Office"
"We did a pool lottery and we won"   

That's the closest I've met Lottery winners before.

I hit 5 of 6 numbers on Lotto a few years back.
Won about $7000, after taxes about $4500 , had to split with three brothers which left enough for each of us to fix something needed on our vehicles.

The best thing I ever got was a large inheritance from a Nigerian Prince.... I sent in all my banking info, but I haven't received my share yet. From what I understand these settlements can take years....but I'm very hopeful I'll be able to retire soon

I had just turned 18. I live very close to the Province of Quebec so I decided to go and try a casino for the first time. I had all of 5 dollars and beginners luck.

Pulled on a few slot machines and lost. Spent some time people watching then it was time to go so I might as well throw my last few quarters in the machine.

Drop in a quarter, lights start going off, sirens and a casino official comes over. "You have won the daily jackpot" It was a cool 3k. He later informed me that had I put the max bet in instead of a single quarter it would have been 20k.  I didn't care I was 18 and had more cash than I had ever won.

Spent 1k on dinner with my buddy and strippers. Used the other 2k to buy a computer which was required for my college program.

Never been back to the casino. My winning record is too precious lol. Plus pulling that horseshoe out of my @ss is going to be painful lol.
