I was trying to get it for a father and son project as well.  Did you get it from the original  seller or someone else?

 What a great project. Pretty rare color, throw in a bench seat and green interior and there can't be many (if any) others. 8) very cool.

Great project and cool color combination not seen very often. Good luck with the restoration.

Interesting that this car has gold carpets as well.
It is a very untouched survivor, which is a good thing.
I believe even the original radio is still in it.

A 340 71 non R/T in GY8 is a really cool find.  I have a buddy building a GY8 72 rallye charger.  They look awesome with a black top and stripes.  Congrats on your find and I agree to keep her close to original as possible.  It will stand out in the crowd!

Green was a very common color on exteriors, on vinyl tops and interiors. Late 60's and early 70's Dodge and Plymouth car lines. I remember. My wife's first car was a triple green 68 Dart. I have had a triple green 70 Barracuda and Challenger. My 68 RR was Green in and out. Chrysler must have got a great deal on Green paint back then.  :tool:

Looking closer it may have been green carpet that ironically has faded to gold.
Luckily the car has its build sheet so I will have to decipher it and see what colour the carpets actually were when new.
