Does anyone regularly drive their classic Mopar?

Reading the replies reminds me why I'll never paint my car.  The faded 40yr old patina works for a driver.  I drive my car and never worry about it.  Never roll up the windows and don't lock the doors.  Went golfing and saw this beautiful Camaro.

Likewise....although I may paint it once I practice on enough tailgates and garbage cans....

I take mine out mostly on Sunday mornings, early, before all the idiots get on the road. (New jersey is the most densely populated state in America so there's cars everywhere).  I like to drive the backroads. No radio, just the sound of the 383 shifting through the gears (4spd).

And, I drive it to the occasional car show.
I don't fret if I get caught in the rain but I do like to keep it clean.  It's covered when in the garage otherwise it gets so dusty that it looks blah.

The car is nice enough that I don't like to leave it unattended for too long, so I don't really run errands with it or anything like that but I sometimes wish I had a "driver" that I could care a little less about.  It would be nice to have both - a really nice car for shows and a 20 footer that you don't mind parking in a parking lot where you might get a door-ding.

I guess the grass is always greener eh?  When you have a 20 footer, you might wish for a nicer paint job and shiny chrome and perfect trim, but then when you have one, you worry about it a little more.  It took me 30 years to complete this car.  I'd like to not have to do it over again.

Remember, wherever you go, there you are.

I dunno about that. I find the Sunday morning church crowd a bit frustrating..lol. Not because they rush around and drive stupid or anything..just slooow. Around here anyway.

I drive mine every weekend. I like going to car shows on Saturdays. Afterwards I usually make a  wide loop/drive  to get home. If I go north I head into the mountains. If I go south I head out thru the farmlands - to the desert canyon lands by the Snake river. A lot of wide open country to run around in. I usually average about 75-125 + miles on these little trips around the valley. I really need to fix my gas gauge. On some of my longer excursions I get carried away and don't realize how far out I went, making it back has been a bit iffy.
