I don't like losing a sale but, If the price is good and the customer gets what was ordered that's a win win.  I don't like getting into a pickle over pricing. they get a better price that's cool. ACC gives them a major discount.

That's the way to get and keep customers. I wouldn't think twice about contacting you for something else...and if the price was even close you would get the sale......but $80 was a bit much on a $175 item.....Cody was right..you are a stand up guy!

I put an ACC mass backed carpet in my convertible in 2015, and am very pleased with it.
I ordered mine from Rock Auto over a weekend, and it was on my doorstep when I got home from work on Thursday.
I unboxed it and laid it out flat immediately after getting home.
In most cases I believe ACC carpet is made to order, so if you unbox it immediately and lay it flat after getting it, it hasn't been in the box long enough to develop any creases.
I was flamed on one of the other Mopar websites by several posters who said I obviously don't know anything about manufacturing because they don't think they are made to order. Some of my engineering coworkers at manufacturing companies I've worked at over the last 25 years might agree with that statement!  :P
I didn't check my carpet box, but I did get some matching ACC floor mats several months later, and checked the date codes on them, and the date code on the box was the same day as the shipping date of my mats.  They were made the same day they were shipped!
When you think of how many cars and trucks, variety of colors, different piles etc ACC would have to keep in inventory, it really doesn't make sense that they would keep most SKUs in inventory, maybe some of their biggest sellers and a few returns but otherwise, chances are you will get a fresh carpet when you place an order with them.
I admire what ECS does and am a customer, but IMO it's not worth the extra money and time to get a laid flat carpet from them.
But in the end everyone has to decide what they think best for them, your results may vary!

I just put down Rattletrap sound deadener in my Cuda.  Took almost 50 sq ft to do front and back under carpet.  I wasn't sure what it would take so ordered 100.   Will do trunk and doors with rest of it and have some left over for another project.  I really liked it and has some good reviews.  I used aluminum tape where i cut for relief and splice some pieces in.  Reasonable and sticks well to a clean floor.

I haven't used but have had some customer use this. plus you can buy a 50ft roll instead of sheets.

Thanks Cody and Mike, Alan for the positive comments. the market is small and very competitive.

The rattletrap also comes in rolls.  They also sell a thinner version.
