Just found out something that bummed me out today.  This site is blocked on the network at my work!  :crying:
I just don't get it sometimes.  Moparts isn't blocked. YouTube used to blocked, now it works.
I can go on EBay but I can't get my comcast email.
Oh well they pay me to design trucks not talk about cars. :headbang:

That's a big bummer.   :(  It might be because we are still someone new and only a few months old.  We added a certificate about a month ago so that will help and I think over time we'll get more trusted by firewall.

The real question is, you design trucks!  Super cool.  Tell us a little about the trucks you get to design!   :please:

I work at Navistar in the custom engineering group working on International Workstars, which will be renamed HV's later this year after a minor refresh.
I work on almost everything from front bumper to rear tail lights to everything in between. Except engines, and they won't let our group touch after treatment devices.
Seems sometimes that every customer wants something different, and the company bends over backward to try to sell trucks, so custom stays busy and layoffs and reductions are almost unheard of in my group, which is nice.
Its cool seeing Workstars out on the road and thinking to myself "hey there's one of my trucks"!
Not surprisingly, lots of other car guys work there too.
Now if I could only get promoted a level higher, and be able to see my comcast email and this site on my work PC, I'd promise not to ever complain about my job again!  ;)

What a great job!  Pretty to get to work on something then see it driving around on the road.     I love that!   :drinkingbud:

Agreed that is cool to see what you have made out there.

As my field is plastic injection tooling. It was always a nice suprise back in the day to see items I have produced as the tool maker. A bit the same now as I have moved on to managing their offshore builds.
Still awsome though.
