Just installed my ammeter bypass and headlight relay kit this past weekend. Relays and fuses from the headlight kit are hidden under the battery tray.
I wrapped the wires from the bypass and headlight relay kit in the factory style vinyl loom wrap from AMK before installing.
You would never know they weren't part of the original harness.

@Skdmark  How long did the headlight relay kit take to install? Any tips or advice to follow?

Just follow the instructions Crackedback sends over. Which includes being careful not to bang around the ceramic headlight plugs while installing.
It took me about 2.5 hours. I wasn't rushing it and I spent extra time wrapping the wires in the factory vinyl loom wrap to camouflage the wires.
I mounted the relays and the fuses under the battery tray which is also shown in the instructions.

My battery tray was in bad shape so I picked up a new one. I used medium velcro strips from command to mount the relay bases. Just ran the strips perpendicular to the relay bases and mounted them up against the bottom of the tray. Used zip ties through the relays to loosely tether them to the battery tray brace as an extra precaution. I Zip tied the fuse holder covers to one of the wire bundles out to the headlights. All of the wires that go out to the headlights lay behind the battery tray brace and poke up in the little gap in the corner between the battery tray, inner fender and radiator yoke. From there you follow the path of the factory headlight harness to the headlight buckets and across the yoke.

Thanks.   Stamina is the biggest issue right now.  Can't go in the shop and slog out 6-8 hours.   I get 2-4 in and I'm whacked.  Still better than the 30 minutes in January!!!!

Most installs take anywhere from 40 minutes to 3 hours depending on what you want to do with install.   Wrapping wires will take a bit longer.  I'd say most are under 1.5 hours.

@crackedback - Just want to confirm something.  I have purchased the M&H wiring harnesses for the front lighting, engine compartment, dash, etc. to replace all the older wiring.  Even though I'll have all new wiring/connectors, etc, its advisable to still install the headlight relay, Alternator by-pass, and Amp meter by-pass upgrade kits, correct?
