I have a full size spare I'm contemplating on selling.

There is some edge wear on one side.
Wheel in great condition.

it is the correct Goodyear for 71' Possibly 72' as well.

WIW?  :notsure:

what type tire, black wall, dual white stripe, white wall, RWL?

DOT code?

Topcat

White stripe Goodyear.

I'm brain farting here since it's not with me.

175/75/14 Goodyear.

Sorry for the long wait.  :D

I pulled out the spare today and it's not that great a shape once I dug it out.
Some edge wear but it's not normally seen once the wheel is in the trunk laying downwards.

Still, I would like to know more on it's production date.
I'm pretty certain the rim is my correct spare that came with the car. Production 12/70.

It's a radial tire ....not used in 70-71  :alan2cents:

So then at some point my step Dad had it replaced with a radial before I got the car.

yes, it's a 4th week 1979 radial tire
there will be a date stamp for the wheel by the valve stem  :takealook:

Rim has 6th hole and is likely the original 5.5 spacesaver rim to the car.
Someone likely didn't like the aspect of a donut tire in the trunk and replaced it with a conventional tire at some point.
What are the numbers on either side of valve stem, and are they followed by 5.5
...does it have K2 over 9 or likely K2 over 0 on the rim flat face and before the valve stem numbers.
If all that is there, your pm's will light up.
The rim is worth some good money

Likely not a Space Saver rim, I think I see the "bump" on each side of the valve stem hole.  Several B-bodies used 6 hole rims.

On one side of valve stem is a 10.
Other side a 7

Then a space and 55 it looks like.
