@farmboy70   ot's hard to see, but when I click the photo to enlarge it looks like a K00138 to me.   :notsure:

is it K00138 or K00188?

Looks like 138 to me too, unless maybe something has clipped the leading part of the next to last digit on the tag.

That's too bad about that car - it was on eBay in 2013 as a more complete car - definitely had potential. So Dave - is car K00188 officially crushed and gone to the great scrap yard in the sky?

the '70 sunroof Challengers are a bit "ODD" - NO "sunroof" M51 fender tag code (need a b'cast sheet for "proof")

it looks like:
Chrysler spec'd "sales bank" cars got a "K" VON
Dealer spec'd "SOLD" cars received a normal 6-digit VON

& I know of two that were dealer spec'd with a sunroof & special order paint - they have "J" VONs
@6bblgt  - you sent me one of those J Von cars - but not the other. Are you not able to share the 2nd one? Thanks, Scott.

The car is gone. I cut it to pieces.
I have the fender tag and title, no vin tag as dash assembly was gone.

I love my P31 car. They still worked after 25 years of sitting in a barn

I've owned a couple P31 cars, current car I added relays which helped allot, and currently I'm swapping out the motors, I had one that even with relays was still sluggish, I'd seen Dorman was offering replacement motors, about 25% smaller than the OE motors & I had doubts but someone else tried them & posted that they worked well.... I bought one just to try it & it works faster & stronger that the old design motors ever did..... So I bought the other three & currently I'm swapping them out.... All four are in, just doing adjustments on the window then clean & reinstall the panels...

Heck yeah!!

P31 is really rare!     I've never owned a P31 car.

Just incase anyone was having trouble with the very first code. It is P-31 Power windows.
Dave

P31 = PITA :alan2cents:

I've restored several now... :pullinghair:

Gee Alan! I didn't know you felt that way about P31? Do you still want the FJ5 sunroof car then.... :console:

I wish I had a P31 car!  Not sure how many they made with Power Windows, but it's a pretty rare option.

I think the N88 code might be rarer than the P31... Add C62, M91 along with all the more common options & this car is very interesting...

Man, that's making me want to work on my Challenger!  N88, P31, & C62.  No luggage rack here though.

What's the value of a complete E body power window setup these days?  All 4 regulators with working motors and good complete wiring harness with grommets.  I don't recall whether it has the switches.

I've had afew P31 cars, great when they work. PITA when they don't.  :alan2cents:
