The door decal with vin and date of manufacture. Is there anyone who makes these?

ECS was the best for those.  It looks like they still make them.

Performance Graphics would be my second choice.

I bought mine from ECS a few years ago too, it's about as perfect of a replication as you can get. They even printed out the numbers in the same off center spot as my original

AND, for I believe it was $15 or 20.00 more you can have a second copy, in case you mess up or the door gets damaged etc. etc. Excellent quality and good service. They recently had a sale on, but I don't know if that's still a thing. Deal with confidence.

Now that you mention it, ECS does have sales.  I think they are just around holidays though.  Next one might not be until Memorial Day or even 4th of July.

I had them make me a second one for a notebook for display. This was years ago and they had to get back to me before they would do two of them. When I told them it was for showing the restoration process they thought that was a great idea and made me two of them. It has been so long ago, I am not sure what I paid, but it was worth it for documentation records of the build.

Yep, ECS here as well. As far as my eyes could tell, identical to my original.

This is an ECS decal I bought for my old 70 340 Swinger

This post reminded me that I need a new door tag after my car was painted last summer. Order just placed for ECS, Thanks!  :bigthumb:
I noticed my original decal was placed vertical and not horizontally like I see in others post in this thread? What determines placement? Any rhyme or reason to it?

Maybe the difference in the assembly plant, LA versus Hamtramck.

it's an old and blurry pic, but here is my early build LA in vertical. my fender tag also seems to be the odd LA thin letters/#s.

When you compare the placement of the numbers and letters, they did it pretty much exact to my original.
