I would think $20K-$25K would have been more realistic for that FY1 at Carlisle. :alan2cents:

I think your being ""A LITTLE GENEROUS"" Alan! :stop: My buddy that has a resto. shop down here has a hot nut for a FY1 AAR. He considers his own labor free. I sent him pics. of the car on Sat. I told him all he was buying would be the tags and vin plate. It needed ""EVERYTHING"" full resto. from the roof skin down. We both thought $15K at most.

You'll never find a matching number 4 speed AAR project for under $20K no matter how rusted it is. :alan2cents:

The rust bucket at Carlisle was an automatic!

Well, the TX9 4-speed isn't quite done yet, I've been dragging me feet on the long blocking over the summer.  The complete dash assembly and all the interior is sitting in my office, the driveline and suspension is completed and covered up in the shop.  Fact is, everything is completed except the body, playing in to many golf tournaments and got a case of the lazy to put the time on the body that's probably only 2 weeks to completion.  I'll be back on it later this summer when the humidity is lower, dragging this one out so I have something to work on and I don't buy another project.

buy another project, you can't golf 24/7

Nice Danny, nice to see my "book end" partner to Cody made it home.

Man, it doesn't get much better then a TX9 (Black) E-Body.  When do we get to see some photos?   :pokeeye:  I know it's not done yet, but you know we love photos.

My dream T/A.                     (but with elastomeric bumpers and louvers)

Don't have a pic of this color combo on an AAR.

Intersitng convo about tx9. I thought most people didn't like tx9 back in the days and now because of all the other wild funky colors plymouth offered. That's kinda one of the reason why I didn't want to paint my car it's original color which is a tx9.

I believe an AAR in the colour combo has been found and is being restored

You won't find too many T/A's with elastomeric bumpers :alan2cents:
