convert column shift to floor shift column

Can a Column shift steering column be converted to a floor shift steering column?
I bought what was supposed to be an original column for a floor shift 70 challenger SE, but it came as a column shift.
So I need the lock tube, and a different cup but anything else or is it impossible?

TONY'S PARTS sells the collar you'll need... I column shift column should have the same lock tube inside that you need for a 70 floor shift column
