So does anyone know what size / part number the retainer is. Its the cage nut that goes over the nut that holds the rotor on and the cotter pin goes through. The disk brake one is different than the drum brake one since the spindle is larger. So has anyone come with a source. Thanks

These are cage nuts...

I think you are looking for Slot (or sometimes called Castle) nuts...

Dave should be able to get you the correct nut.

Do you mean the (Retainer) lock nut that goes over the nut?

If so, Rock Auto has them.  http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/plymouth,1970,cuda,5.6l+340cid+v8,1231726,brake+&+wheel+hub,spindle+nut+retainer,1620

If you need it local, I bet any Napa, Autozone, etc. parts store would have them. Just take your nut with you and make sure it fits over it and the inside diameter matches. It should be the same size for all models in 1970 & 71 per the parts manual.

Yup, that's what I need, thanks.
