Leaf Spring #3402344 ?

What do #3402344 springs come off of ?
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

I think they might be off a 1972 cuda, i'm just checking now.

Nope I was wrong, no idea.

I looked through the 70, 71 & 72 Parts book and nothing there.

I even checked 1973 and then 1967, 68 and 69.  Nothing.     :huh:

A quick google search "3402344 leaf" just brings me back to this thread.    :headbang:  But it was impressive that Google picked this thread up in a matter of a few hours.   :veryexcited:

Picture & length , could be a SS spring ?

That number does ring a bell but I can't remember what it is for. I did a search with a P in front and it didn't yield any results either. Ahh, 6bbl said (in another forum) that it is the left spring in a 70 XHD package.
Alan: Is that half leaf pointing to the rear of the spring pack?

I was looking to buy 044 springs....a local guy has a set of springs and told me the last two numbers were 44.....I got excited until I asked him the whole number and this is what he gave me....
Said he took them out of a 71 318 Challenger ?

I have a pair of 3402345 (dated 330 0) here  :takepicture:

BASE '71 = 3402344 (hardtop) & 3402345 (convertible) VS. BASE '70 = 3400014 (hardtop) & 3400015 (convertible)

1971 b'cast sheets:
