My rear-end stance...what is it?

I think it looks great the way it is now. I don't like it when it covers half of the tire (tire edge to the wheel edge).

I agree. I think it looks great the way it is now. The problem is that my leaf springs have helpers on them, and I should probably replace/simplify it with a new set of ESPO. My point of reference really sucks.

Sounds like the consensus from this thread is that it's sitting at about .5" or .75" over stock. Do you guys agree with this, and are certain?

Yep, that's precisely it! Lower is better for handling. That's why I want to be VERY careful with what "over stock" spec I need. If I go too tall, it will suck. Plus, the fact that I'm "considering" adding 255's in the future, that will naturally raise it up a tad bit, so I want to keep that in mind.

In a perfect world, what I want to do is buy a set of espo springs that match my current height. In that way, if I want a little more rake, then just lower the torsion bar (add smaller stoppers like you said) or put on slightly bigger rear tires. Getting big jacked up leaf springs is what I want to avoid! +1 to me can easily too "too raked".

I also want to avoid getting leaf springs that are shorter than what I have now, and then have saggy butt syndrome.

So what I'm trying to do is get an idea what my current height is by showing pictures of the car and hopefully you guys can feel pretty confident on what "+" number I need. The nice thing is that my tires are 235s all the way around, so what you're seeing is straight up suspension.

My hunch from the responses is that it's going to be +.5" or +.75" based on the responses. Espo said "no problem" when I asked if I could get fraction numbers.

+1" with your 235s and your current stance will raise the rear for sure.  So either you will have to raise the torsion bars too, or just go with +.5" springs.

Bullitt-

Here's an idea possibly..... Take the helper springs off & see how much the rear drops..
That should give you a good idea of how much plus spring you want.

I wish I could do that, but the problem is that assumes my rear springs are +0 and haven't had any sag in 48 years. Probably not!

I think .5" is the best bet.
