Getting ready to install the parking brake cables on my 72 Challenger with the weld in frame connectors. Was looking for some ideas for the location of the holes to drill on the driver side. I know others have done this & I didn't want to screw-up.

I went a bit larger than needed with mine but don't think it hurts the strength at all seeing I boxed it in also.

Also notice the slots on the inner sides are further back than the outside one due to the angle of the cables. I can get you my measurements if you want.

Thanks Torredcuda looks like you had the foresight to cure this issue before installing them. Wish now that I had done the same

Yes I knew I would need to cut holes from others who posted about these connectors so did them on the bench before installing.

I use a Lokar ebrake cable to the Wilwood cables on my car, they are pretty flexible.

Thanks I had not looked in that direction but that makes for a clean setup. Any trouble hooking the front cable to the brake lever? That is an Awesome exhaust setup by the way

Nope, no issues with that hookup, it's just a ball from what I recall.

I've really enjoyed the vacuum cutouts. They only open up under hard throttle and close other times. When they are closed they are effectively helmholtz resonators, which removed my drone completely.
