Just finished assembling the steering column for my 1970 Cuda with power steering.  I followed the assembly procedure shown in Cuda Cody's video (great video!).  After assembly, I noticed some relative movement between the crush can and the turn signal/flasher collar.  I have the column supported in a bench vise similar to that shown in the Cody's video.  When looking at the gap between the crush can and the turn signal/flasher collar all the way around it is slightly uneven.  If I lift up slightly on the turn signal/flasher collar, I can make the uneven gap go away.  The ignition collar and the turn signal/flasher collar fit together tightly, and move together relative to the crush can when I lift up.  See the attached video of when I apply a lifting force, and notice how the gap between the turn signal/flasher collar and the crush can changes.  Is this relative movement normal?  Will it go away when the column is properly supported in the car?  Anybody have the steering column out of their car to check for similar relative movement?
Thanks for the help.

I tried to watch the video but couldn't.  I don't think you can directly attach a video to a post here like you can do with a picture.  Most/all of the videos I've seen through this forum have been through links which go to a YouTube video which the forum member has uploaded there.  You might try that route to get your video viewed.

Which I had better news.  If I'm wrong about the videos, I'm sure I will be corrected shortly.

I hope the above link will show the video I mentioned in my original post.  The video is also under my name (Gary AAR) in the forum Gallery.

I failed to mention that after I first noticed the movement I did partially disassemble the column to the point that I could check the snap ring and other mounting screws.  I could spin the snap ring in it's groove, so I'm fairly confident the snap ring is properly seated.  Any other suggestions for things to double check?
Thanks.
