Engine compartment is complete! AC lines, radiator overflow, power steering overflow, CAI......

Damn! Turned out great. Seeing that makes me want to just go all in on a resto-mod. It's like there is a turning point or tipping point where you are trying to keep shit original.....and then it gets to a point where it's like you've already changed so much, screw it!! Dropping a new crate motor in!!! Lol! And once you go that way, sky is the limit! You have crossed over! And it looks great!

Thank you Clark! I know exactly what you are saying, but with this car it made sense to me. No build sheet, no fender tag, non rally 318, I already had possession of a Gen 3...... when it is finished it is going to be a new car in a 1972 body.

 Halo headlights with turn signals matching my Hellcat, and custom autosound stereo installed. She is getting close!

I would like some opinions about the ride height and the wheels. She is running and on the road but not finished yet. I think the rear is about 2" to high and I was thinking about going with the US Wheels Chrysler O.E. wheels in 17" with the dog dish hubcaps. She i is riding on billet specialty 18's in the picture.

IMO, dog dish caps look like crap on every car I've ever seen them on. Every...single...one. (you asked for opinions..) I'd stick with the billets.
And I agree with you that it is too high. If you want the best possible handling, lower it as much as possible.

I chose the billet specialties wheels but after we lowered the car they rubbed on the fenders. We machined 1/2" off of the wheels but determined they were to thin now so we machined and pressed in plugs. The wheels fit but now we need to change the studs.

I like the look of those rims, 2" lower would be perfect.
