Working to get rid of my hot air intake. This project has been on the back burner for awhile now.

My current intake works okay, but my intake temps run anywhere from 15°-30° hotter than ambient air during highway cruise. Not good for power.

This box is intended to seal to the bottom of the closed hood, like some current Dodges do. The intent is to pull air from an existing scoop at the grille perforations and a botched hood seal at the radiator support.

Similar theme I am planning with my turbo inlets.
Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.
