Car is taking shape nicely. I had kind of forgot about your thread and just came back. Hoping you get it out on the road this year!

Not quite there but getting closer to the shape I want. I think it is turning out even better than I hoped. Couple more rounds of filler and sanding and the whole thing will be ready for paint and woodgrain treatment. 2016 Challenger Gauge Cluster grafted to a 69 Barracuda Rallye Dash Bezel. Not a perfect fit by any means but close enough for me to make it work.

Comparing my Challenger cluster to a uncut stock rallye bezel.

What a 2016 Challenger cluster looks like lit up.

I had the Neon SRT-4 seats in my base Neon back in the day. Man I loved those seats! Those Viper seats look great too!

Plug-n-Play with the Transmission PCS (Powertrain Control System) from Sound German Automotive.
Russel Drake is SGA and he happens to be local to me. I purchased his PCS for the 8HP70 8-Speed. It is a module and harness that basically takes the place of all the computers that would communicate with the ECM and TCM.
He has been adding more support over the last few years.

Here is a link to his FB page. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057085766128

Today's progress. More filler and a lot more sanding and then finally some SEM high build primer.
Made a couple of small boo-boos in the primer but they will get sanded out before painting.
Totally stoked at how well this is turning out so far.

A shot of just the modified bezel alone.  Has a DMT CF overlay sitting on it. Not going to use the CF overlay.
It will have a DMT Walnut overlay to go with the door panel trim.

69 Barracuda Fastback G3 Hemi 8HP70 8-Speed build.
Next up, How to add Classic Auto Air Controls to a 2017-18 Challenger Console.
Boom! That works for me (y)
A little ABS and some J-B Weld plastic, then sand and fill and prime and some paint.

So, a little more Dash progress.
Had to repair the radio cutout, a previous owner had enlarged the center hole a bit but not in a way that worked with my plans. So I repaired that first then cut out an opening for the Pioneer MVH-S720BHS single Din
Mech-less (No optical drive) unit.
When I was happy with the opening, I cut some Aluminum Angle for mounting brackets and epoxied them to the back of the bezel.
Had to trim some more of the dash frame to fit...
Then I laid out the holes to be cut for the center AC vents and cut them out. Tight fit on the back side and limited by the precut openings of the Walnut woodgrain overlay we plan to use...
I still need to cut the woodgrain overlay to fit. Very little wiggle room there.
Here it is, so far. Just another test fit.

Some sanding marks and dust but it's still just test fitting. Wiper switch label has masking tape over it as well as the others... Not using the trim bezel that came with the stereo, the cutout and bezel would have been ugly. Happy with just a clean opening that follows the contour of the stereo.

I'll have to pop out the vents and cut out holes in the overlay to match the holes in the bezel.
Still just in primer. Won't paint until all mods are complete and going in the car for final install.
Till then, you'll just have to use your imagination.

Now with woodgrain.
Also filled the Cig Lighter hole. Will use the lighter +12v wire from the wiring harness for +12v source for the Challenger console power ports.
Still in primer...
Going to add a silver pinstripe above the cluster to tie the left and right woodgrain together, the black gap bugs me. We decided to keep the rest of the bezel all black. Probably a combination of textured black and SEM trim black... I'll be painting the glove box trim to match.
