73 Challenger Rallye

Question: there is a picture of a 73/4 TX9 car with chrome sill trim. Was that an atcual option for those years or would it have been added by someone? I'm thinking it's the later.

Those moldings were standard on the "BS" Cuda package in 71-74, so I don't see why they wouldn't be offered as an option on the Challenger M25 ?

Maybe member @Burdar has some insight, I know he has a lot of knowledge on those cars

I assume your talking about the rocker trim beneath the doors?  The car on the front cover of the 73 data book has that trim.  I've also seen others with it.  I assume it was an option but I don't know what code it would be or if any other trim came with it.



This one seems to be a stock restoration and it has the trim.

Yea I agree, love the triple white. Member bpsmopar is restoring a triple white Sunroof 1971 Charger RT right now.....looks great...

Short update.
Engine removed, engine compartment cleaned, now grind and paint.

That's ugly dirty work, it will start looking better soon though.

Yesterday started with painting. Hope that the car is finished painted in 4-5 weeks.
