A.G.A.R. Cancellation.... T/A now for sale

Well, more sad news at AGAR....Unfortunately  I had to refund my future customer his deposit for the restoration of his original number's matching FC7 Auto, Challenger T/A. Due to unforeseen circumstances at home, he can no longer follow through with his planned restoration of his pride and joy and he's decided he has to sell the car as it sits.

Now before you flood my PM box.....The car is a MAJOR project needing a ton of  metal work from what I understand. The car is located in Alberta Canada and is also in a million pieces.
For a couple of years he's been collecting a lot of nice pieces and having components restored by some of the best names in the business, like Scott Smith Harms, etc... Carbs are done, seats, dash, heater box, etc...etc...Tons of new parts and NOS parts like full NOS quarters, correct 390 rims etc...

Car is fully documented with two build sheets, fender tags, numbers match drivetrain etc...

Ton of money invested.....I believe, don't quote me, but I think the asking price with everything is going to be $35K-$40K USD..... AT LEAST....parts alone add up to quite a bit from what I understand.

He also has an enclosed trailer he bought just for this car that he would like to sell....

Of course I would still love a shot at restoring it.....

I don't have any pictures to share, I do have the BCS, but would like to get his permission to post first.

Sorry to hear he will not be able to see his dream car through.  If I din't already have a Purple T/A I would have been interested.  I know @73Cudamann  is recently retired and was looking for a Purple T/A. 

Hope everything works out for the current owner and who ever ends up with it.

sad to hear, I hope he does well, whatever the situation you know its not good. sounds like someone will get a stellar start on a great car, that is a lot of time/money on just those pieces mentioned to not have to deal with. @anlauto with all those pieces done, what would you think the rest of process would cost to finish?

I don't know the details of everything he has done.....Most likely $45K CDN plus whatever metal work.  I guess

If I had the money I would be all over  a project like this.  I don't mind the Auto at all!!

A pink AAR or T/A is my dream car....but purple would work too!

hmm I guess I need to get back to work so I can make that dream a reality!!!

I may be low, but I am going to say 25k is tops with all the rust that is showing. No trunk floor , interior floors are bad/missing, no dutch-man panel and the list goes on. This is a true indicator of more rust that is not shown. The biggest asset is the build sheet, tags and of course the matching block. Yes, there are some new parts, but only the tip of the entire project.

It's got a lot going for it.  The rust can be fixed and it has a lot of the hard to find stuff.  Great color too.  I think a fair value is somewhere in the mid 20's for a project like that, but since he has a lot of the parts restored he might get close to his asking price..
