Yeah: I wouldn't pay that much for a small block anything.

Funny story...Years ago we were at Moparfest and a friend of ours won a free fresh rebuilt 1969 340.....He goes up on the stage and says in front of everybody (after a couple brown pops) "What am I going do with that small block crap....." :drunk:

I bought it from him for $300.....and sold it back to the guys that run the show about two months later... :haha:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

No imagination.

Stroke it to 416, some really good heads and an air-gap intake and it can scream lay waste to many stock build big blocks.

70 Challenger Lover

A convertible a66 four speed car just popped up on eBay. I just started a new thread on it with a link.

First off, no chrome around the tail panel, the fender tag does not look original.  :foul:

"........... the fender tag does not look original. "
Actually, the fender tag appears to be just about the only original item going for the car. IMHO
Well not true! the picture shows the VIN and engine to match, the tag shows the same VIN. I would like to see the rad support (with spot welds present) and upper cowl numbers (not spiced in) to be leave it's not a re-body!
