Could somebody please post a picture, with details, of a known original hood pin. I need overall length, thread length & type. I see some pictures in the David Wise book but nothing clear. Also searched here but didn't see what I was looking for. Thank you, Joe

Without going back and disassembling  a pin assembly,  my recollection is that they are just regular 1/2-13 coarse  nuts. Not stainless or chrome. If the height is correct,  a hardware grade zinc nut should be...
