All
I have a 70 Challenger convertible.  The windshield and header stainless trim has small dents and scratches. None of the trim has ever been removed. There is black sealant that's hardened visible under the windshield trim. I'd like to remove all the trim over winter and send it out to get polished. I've never removed trim from a Mopar before. I'm looking for guidance as to where to start, what tools are needed, and what things should be avoided to prevent damage. I suspect the clips under the windshield trim need to be disengaged with a hooked trim tool is the first step. Sealant under the trim will be a challenge.  Maybe the header trim can then be easily removed.
Thanks
Dereck

Thanks. Looks like a good tool. Once I get the windshield trim removed can I remove the front pillar/header surrounding  trim without removing the windshield?

I've never tried it, but I would doubt it. It has screws holding it on.
