Bay looks great body color.
Yea that is interesting about the crush can.
Wonder if that is a manual steering shaft. As they are slightly longer.

Thank you all.  I'm glad I did it. Fitech install turned into a huge can of worms but I think it was worth it.

I do think there was a mix of manual and auto steering columns going on and maybe that is the issue.  If I remember correctly, the C clips determine where the collars sit relative to the shaft, so I don't think there is any way the shaft could be too far in or out unless the parts are different.
