Brad, I didn't picture you pulling your cool auto trans for a stick.   :stop:  You will leave me the only one on this forum with an automatic!!

:haha:  No I bought this with a Javelin in mind, but if the Challenger needed it ...? Like if the tranny blew up etc.... Should be good for awhile it doesn't have many miles on it.

There's an easy fix for that.  :Stirring:

Great score buddy! I won't let on that this is one more wee step towards building that killer Javelin that lurks in your mind. By the time SWMBO'd catches on, the "camel" will well and truly have his nose under the tent, eh?  :bigthumb:

:D  She must be getting " wise" to my scheme .... Mark this week ,just brought up an AMX mesh grill that Roadman found for me on E-Bay months ago. I had it shipped to his place as the seller wouldn't ship to Canada?  Add it to the pile....  :bigthumb: One piece at a time.... Johnny Cash inspired?  :haha:
I have my eye on a 401 core engine locally.... That one will be tougher to hide?  :fingerscrossed:

Growing older is mandatory...growing up is optional.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

'70 Barracuda B5/B5 225 /6 3spd ... about as bare bones as they came

Put gas in it and took it for a long overdue cruise in the country.  Hot outside though 95 degrees.  Car ran cool.  Oh, and I found a photo op.

Went to the Golden Supercruise and saw some nice cars! The '64 Barracuda had the pentastar machined into the rotor.

I spent the day at a local car show about 20 miles away.  Lots of curvy rural roads to get there!!  I rolled there on a fast sweeping road at a moderate pace about 20mph over the recommended speed.  The "Cuda felt nice!!  I entered the "Street Machine" class and got a reward, but I go to shows to sit around and eat ice cream.
The ride home was a bit more brisk and the road was much tighter.  I am finally getting a better feel for the car's tendency to iniatially understeer into the corners, but then once the rear end sits on the sway bars, it switches to oversteer.  Even with large sway bars, I wish I did'nt have so much body roll.  And my 6bbl sucks for the on/off transitions!!  I have decided to pursue rebuilding my mechanical 6bbl carbs I have in a box on the shelf.  The vacuum operation of the outboards is stupid unless it is WOT at a drag track.  I want total control of the carbs at my foot.  This is gonna be some work.  I wonder if my gas milage can get any worse??
