Putting things back into my firewall after painting my engine bay.
I'm in bagging parts I removed and I realize that I only have 2 of the flared aluminium spacers that go onto the 3 studs of the wiper motor.
I'm assuming I should have 3?

Dakota

I had 3 spacers on my wiper motor.  I think you're missing one.

I agree,  mine stayed on the stud... it was a pain to get off after

When installing these spacers, does the flare end go in towards the firewall, or out towards the wiper motor?

These  are the spacers. I had a few made. They were steel not aluminium. They are install with flanges against firewall

Top are for 2 pieces  ( Foam gasket & rubber grommets )Bottom are for one piece gasket  ( B Body )

So these are the 2 spacers I have; someone mentioned these go on after the wiper motor, between the wiper motor and the nuts, and that there should be 3 different style spacers that go between the wiper motor and the firewall.
Is this correct? Does someone have a photo showing the correct configuration?

Your spacers are put in the right side but they  usually are put in in the grommets first then you can slide your motor on the studs and tighten . ( The little notch on the spacers is there to hold them on the grommets )

Yup: Spacers first. Do you have the correct nuts for them?

I have the correct factory 3 nuts, but just the 2 spacers.
I'm assuming the holes in the new wiper motor gasket are bigger and go over the spacers?
