1971 Challenger side stripes

Morning all. I had some body work done on  my 71 and we need to replace the side vinyl RT stripes. From the factory were the stripes matte or glossy? Thanks I wish to make it as original as possible.  Kevin

I've wondered that myself as I have a 71.  From what I can find observing cars they were semi gloss rather than matte.

I have some NOS, Chrysler boxed stripes for a 71 R/T, gloss.

1971 R/T were gloss black, do you need all six pieces or just certain ones ?

Decide for yourself after seeing this original paint and striped Hemi R/T.

How much are you asking? Do they have the door latch already cut out?

Unfortunately, I don't have all six pieces, I had to buy a complete set to replace only one piece on a customer's car when he had some paint work done...

Personally, I do not like the glossy R/T stripes. I have the matte ones on mine, goes better with the rubber bumpers and the shaker hood IMO
