Myself and @wanderlustin  took a few hours to go check out all the cool stuff that will be coming up for auction at Ben Snobar's place.  @rocketresto  was kind enough to show us around and let us get some detailed photos for the E-Bodies.org forum.  These are never before seen photos I just took yesterday.  Tom, if you see anything that you don't want shared, please just let me know and I'll get it removed.

We helped ID some motors & trans and after few hours you look around and realize how much stuff is really there.  We hardly made a dent in the stuff that needed to be ID.  It was really cool getting to unearth stuff that has been hidden away for decades.  There's new and rare parts being found each day so I'm really looking forward to going back on the preview day and seeing everything all set out.  This is going to be a once in a lifetime type deal for a lot of people.  Some of these parts are very hard to find and some things (like sure grips) there seems to be hundreds of them.  But who doesn't want a sure grip?  I know I hope to get 1 or 2 during the auction.  Ben had an awesome collection and I was happy to be able to help a little bit.

I tried to look at everything, but there wasn't enough time to even come close to looking at things like carb numbers or 4 speed trans numbers.  :lookatthat:

Unbelievable that one guy would have that much stuff and sit on it like Smaug on his hoard, never sharing until the day he dies. Now some deep pocketed collector will blow in and buy it all and the little guy who'd die for the mentioned Sure-grip will still do without and the price of those parts will just go up and up.  :unbelievable:

I don't think some deep pocket guy will buy it all up.  There's a TON of cost involved in moving this much volume of stuff too.  I can see there being some deals for the little guy.  @rocketresto  can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the way it will work (using the 100 sure grips for example), they all come up for sale.  The first high bidder gets to take as many or as little he wants for that first high bid price, but must take at least 1.  So lets say the first high bidder goes up to $400 (then there's $40 auction fee and about $35 for the sales tax).  He might say he only wants 2 for that price.  He picks his 2 out and the other 98 go right on the block again.  The next high bidder might be $350 this time.  He gets to take as many as he wants for the $350 (again, plus 10% auction fee and then sales tax are extra).  By the time they get to the 100th Sure Grip the price might be $100?

I'm new to this so I'm not sure what they will sell for, but I don't think anyone is going to be able to buy it all.

Crazy to look back only a day later at these parts and cars in photos.  It truly was sensory overload.  Never ever will I see this much Mopar stuff in one place again.  And to think that this was ONE person's stash blows my mind.  This will be an event to go down in history and I think there will be plenty available for all budgets.

wow...yeah I bet it would be sensory overload!

I agree it is sad to see that many parts siting around, many of them rotting away.

Man do I wish I had a stash of cash sitting around and could attend!

Hey @Cuda Cody are you wiling to take orders and a high limit bid for those of us that are not able to attend????
