Mint looking Rampage,  Vert Dakota.     This guy is like me, lives a little of everything.  Exotic to muscle, oddball to obscure.

Cody;
That's where you might have heard of me. I knew Ben Snobar and dealt with him for years.

The only question I have is....Who is/was Ben Snobar :notsure:

Amazing one guy could amass so much Mopar paraphernalia  :unbelievable: and also sad  :( that it wasn't taken care of and stored/organized well. The stuff sitting in the rain makes me  :barf: . Looks like a typical hoarder...keep everything because you never know when you'll need it, but don't bother to plan and organize. I grew up in Oklahoma with a couple of old guys who went through the depression. They had/have barns full and I mean full of old indian motorcycles, bicycles, antiques, etc... Never sold anything up until they died. Now the family is deciding what to do with it all. We are talking barns and buildings all over town full of stuff. Close friends so I cannot divulge names...Gotta love that depression era mentality :dunno:

just as a sidenote...my friends owned a Honda and Kawasaki motorcycle shop as well as a Schwinn bicycle dealership. The bicycle shop is still in operation in Oklahoma and the family previously sold Pentons, Indians and a few other off brand of motorcycles over the years. If I took you through all the buildings, you would probably have a heart attack. You can imagine what they have stored!!!! For bicycle lovers, can you say every possible collector Schwinn imaginable. How about you lovers of Orange Krates and Apple Krates and all the other Krates...all the way back to WW2.  :yes:

Love me some of those Krate bikes.   :inlove:

Ben's hobby was collecting stuff he thought would go up in value.  Much like some people collect stocks and bonds for retirement, but he did not live long enough to use his retirement.  It happens in life.  Some people die before they get to retirement.   I'm not saying his parts were s a good retirement plan, but his family will come out with a large chunk of money after the auction.  And just like broker fees on stocks or bonds, nobody gets get to keep all we invested if we have to sell.

One thing I will point out about Ben and his parts....  he got a lot of joy from owning those parts and that has a value more than any money can buy.

Tom, Evan and thier guys did a masterful  job of organizing the parts, especially considering the short time they had. It was great visiting with some long time friends too.
