This is what I found taking apart the dash from the 70 Challenger convertible I just bought it... I wonder if he had "intermittent wipers"  :haha: :haha: :haha:

Wonder if it was wired by the same person as this one...
Pic is from a recent show. The car is a Challenger convertible and the only thing I could focus on was the menagerie of wires. Sad distraction.

A lightened version!   Wow . . .  :stop: Don't do this . . .  :bricks:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

2 things that drive me crazy. Seeing plug wires laying all over the motor, and/or those red-blue-yellow wire connectors on the wiring.  :pullinghair:  I've seen this many times on otherwise really nice cars. Rant Over    :haha:

Yikes! I just don't get why people mess up electrical like that. It seems every old Mopar has nightmares like that in the wiring, I took 5 live wires with bare ends out of the dash of my 70 Adventurer when I bought it, cigarette foil to replace fuses on numerous cars, it goes on and on.

The owner said it was is "19 year old electrical skills at their best". It's been wired like that since the late 70's  :o

You could have bought the proper connector in the late '70's...cheap.

I thought that's why they put holes in the connectors for the bare wires, right?
