My brain hurts from praying so much. :Thud: It was said that "it should go back easier now since it was together once already." I'm hoping so.

I have tried working with everyone thru this whole process. It is frustrating, you need patience and it wears on you. I have to go up to my families shore house at the beginning of May and am hoping it will be finished by then. It would financially benefit me to just get a one way ticket but I am not counting on it. There is a large cruise/show in Ocean City Maryland the 2nd week in May so I am guessing anyone needing work completed will come first to meet the car cruise deadline.

Please don't give up. We are all pulling for you here.  Really hoping that it works out this time around as you deserve it.

OK, engine back on it's way to the shop. Of course took longer than expected but HOPEFULLY this is it. I asked for a pic when it gets back to the shop and unwrapped. Will post a pic when I get it.

Well I guess this is the result we were looking for. Never had to do this so not sure how or why but..... here it is. Now it has to be re-assembled. Noyt the best timing around there because of race season is opening and 2 big car cruise weeks coming up. I found out though that the machine shop ruined the cam to make it work with the lifters that are now changed so shop is buying me a new cam.

Cudajason

I am glad to see you are making progress.

I guess I don't understand this comment.  Why would someone else's engine come before yours.  Were there engines in the shop before yours???

I'm back to hoping it can be completed in 2 months.   :fingerscrossed: :drinkingbud:

AT least you are not on the hook to replace the cam but more waiting time  :headbang:

The rear seal showed some signs of rubbing so we are going to de-burr the rear cap and block area then re-wash it.....then continue.

Sorry Cudajason, I didn't read your post all the way, just skimmed it. There are a few blocks in there but based on demand and me being out of state I'm sure I will get pushed back. Yeah I know.... but that is just the way it has been. I'm a one time pop nad others are regulars.

no worries..

That is shitty business.  It just makes sure you will only be a one time customer.  It should be first in first out. :alan2cents:

One thing I have learned from this post. My suppositions are correct. Never ending battle to build one of these exotic small block Mopars. I hate it for you but your so deep now there is no backing out. Just have to keep drudging through it and hopefully this will be the final problem!

:iagree: that's just good business but through the many years of owning cars this has happened more than once.
