I've talked about the crazy 22 year old kid that lives with his parents two doors down from me....He bought a brand new 2018 Camaro when he was 19...traded in in on a brand new 2019 Charger Daytona....then bought a 69 Dart....sold it, bought a 68 Valiant, sold it.....

This afternoon I was inside watching TV when the windows of my house started rattling from a familiar sound of open headers.... :notsure:

Look out my front door to see my crazy neighbour's latest purchased.....Not knowing much about cars except how to do oil changes....he goes out an buys a full fledge 10 sec race car because it "looks cool"  :looney:  I asked...what are your plans for it ?  "I"m gonna race it"...this kid has never been on a real race track before....talk about "no fear".....No trailer....No truck....no clue what he's in for what so ever... He rented stuff today just to pick it up

His Mom looked very upset as he idled it into the garage.... :pullinghair:

Good looking car. I don't think he's so crazy. I told my kid to take it to the track and that's what he does, either autocrossing his Cobra or offroading his hand built truck. Better than the street racing I did at that age.

I'd say you can have some fun in that. But crazy to buy on a whim....

Can't learn to swim without jumping in the water!  Looks like fun.
Taking it to the track is way better than street racing safety wise.

Nice looking car may just be crazy like a fox 🦊 😆

:haha:   Fun car though! Doesn't exactly fit in the neighborhood.

With the wheelie bars it barely fit in the garage...

What does it have for an engine? SB? BB? Hemi?

anlauto

It's a 440....I asked if it was stroked and he didn't know what that meant....his answer was "I think it's .030. over"  :dunno:

Very kool car!

Sounds like he might need some financial guidance more than anything.

:iagree: 22 years old and still living with your parents . . . I know 100% without a doubt if that were me, my parents would not have let me keep it in their garage.  Silver lining: At least its a Mopar!  :bravo:

For the U.S. as of 2016, on average 1 out of 3 children aged 25-29 are still living with their parents or grandparents which is roughly 3x the rate compared to 1970.

My sister-in-law has several Kids (plus their kids) living with her and is troubled by all the chaos and noise.  Ours are all out of the house and pretty far away so we miss them a lot.

My sister has two dependent children, 40(girl) 47(boy) still living with her. The mail child has her basement half full of dungeon and dragon's toy's.  :headbang: I do not advertise they are related to me!!!!  :-[

My son took a job 400 miles away when he was 18. I was sad he left early but at the same time I was proud that he was independant and chasing where the money is. That's why we raise them to stand on their own. I let him know I could lend him $$$ if he needed help for a downpayment on his mortgage when he was 22, he didn't need my help.

Based on the decals that came from near me.  Most likely raced either Grand Bend or St Thomas.
