My dad was a sailor in 1956, they were coming in to N.Y from Buenos Aires right when Stockholm and Andrea Doria collided.
He was hanging out with the crew from Stockholm while it was being repaired.
Gotta ask him for more details before he gets too old now.

Had a chance to visit the Petersen Museum in LA and thought this was pretty cool.  Willock Swivel Frame in Canada modified the chassis; my understanding is about 50 Power Wagons got this conversion...
