Don't drink and drive folks, ESPECIALLY in your classic car.

Not me mine. Unknown date and location.
The only thing flat earthers fear, is sphere itself.

I'd  so LOVE to own that car. Sad some people make bad decisions and don't seem to appreciate what they have.  :('  Hated to see that one...

I wonder if both the Bee & RR would not have lost control if they didn't have crap tires ?

Thousands of classics on the road with those "crap tires" that are not wrecked and plenty of newer cars on high performance tires that do get crashed. In the case of the road runner alcohol may have been a cntributing factor, the Dodge I didn`t hear what might have caused it but could have been a lot of reasons.

Mr Cuda

I learned that T/A's had poor lateral loading ability, and rubber that turned to grease when sliding years ago.
They came in desirable sizes, made your car ride smooth, and were reasonably priced. They are on everything, but it doesn't make them good.
And yes, lots of cars with good tires get crashed, because "hold my beer".

Guarantee a significant percentage of them.
I drove an early Mustang with bias tires for a very short time long ago.
Besides being hard and slick compared to todays formulas, their "edges" and stiff sidewalls try to drive you into every large rut in the road.
Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.
You are the only one in charge of your destiny.
