Modern seats in E-Body

At one point TMI a company that makes seat upgrades for vintage vehicles was talking about doing them for Mopar.... It hasn't happened... To bad... But you might want to reach out to them & see if there's any chance....

What they do is really cool, they take the stock seat frames & make new foam & covers with more support like a sports car seat but they keep the stock patterns... There also get into pretty wild colors if thats your thing.... Most of it looks pretty cool.... Take a look...

At one time I heard rumors that you were considering doing Sport Seat R Foam & covers for Mopar, I heard it on Moparts, there was a lot of guys interested & then the whole thing faded away.... Any chance it could happen? My Challenger has been restored for twenty years & 80K miles now & it's about time to freshen the interior, I'd love to do an upgrade to the seats while keeping a relatively stock appearance... Your Camaro & Mustang seats are just what I'd like to have for my vehicle except done to fit a Mopar seat....

Legendary has a rallye seat for the 2nd gen Chargers that use the stock frame.  Kind of pricey but I'm looking into it for my Charger.  Hopefully they will come out with this option for E-Bodies soon.

I used GS-1 sportsman seats from Jegs. They come with sliders and by using  1.5" spacers on one side, fit really well.
I'll try to find a pic of them installed in my car.

Any chance to see a couple pics of these seats installed in your car?  The Tiburon seats are tough to find around here so far and if they fit well and are comfortable, I'd rather spend the money on new seats rather than crawling around a junk yard trying to find something that fits. 

Has anyone looked at mustang seats for fitment or any other brands lately?

I've seen Recaro's Specialist and Expert seats in E-bodies. Agree on the Tiburon seats, they seem to be scarce around Portland too.

look at other import performance offerings - Supra, Miata, Stealth, 3000GT, Eclipse, Lancer, RX7, WRX, Integra. I'm sure there is some other model that is popular in your particular area.

Fit is the biggest part of a good seat, whether you are building your own from a salvage yard or brand new ones from a catalog. Nothing replaces putting your bootie in it and seeing how well it fits your back, butt and thighs both vertcially and laterally.

I'm going with Porsche 911 seats, closest look to stock seats I found, fits nice, 6-way electric, very comfortable. Gonna reupholster these in black leather, maybe cut down the headrest a bit if possible.

What year are those from?  Probably all pretty close to each other? 

Those seats from Jeg's look like they may be an Easy Button if the junkyard scrounging doesn't work out. 

I'm going to take a tape measure to my buddie's 2015 Mustang too.  Seats look nice, but I think they have airbags in them.
